Fee structure
QoolPick uses a simple, transparent fee structure. Productized development (projects using QoolPick packages like Startup MVP or Enterprise MVP) has a 5% platform fee. Contract work (custom-scoped projects) has a 7.5% platform fee. The fee is charged to the client on top of the project price.
How fees are applied
Fees are calculated and shown upfront before any payment is made. For milestone-based projects, the fee is applied to each milestone payment individually. The developer always receives the full agreed-upon amount — the platform fee is an additional charge to the client, not a deduction from the developer's earnings.
Examples
A $15,000 Startup MVP project with a 5% fee: client pays $15,750, developer receives $15,000. A $10,000 contract project with a 7.5% fee: client pays $10,750, developer receives $10,000. For milestone payments, the fee is proportional — a $4,000 milestone on a productized project has a $200 fee, so the client pays $4,200 for that milestone.
